Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

Thanks. I cycled during my 20s (haven't been on the road for well over a year). Yes, probably a decent aerobic base. Rowing a little easier on my time than cycling plus gives a good all over body workout. Enjoying it. I think in order to do significantly better I would need some strength training e....

Re: The Pete Plan

Couldnt resist another go at the 2k this eve. This time I tried with a higher DF (c 142). Was a bit harder on the muscles, a little easier to breathe but I felt a bit laboured in terms of getting up and down the slide. Still, went a little quicker and ended up with 6.36.5 so another new pb (last nig...

Re: Anyone had any SEASON's bests recently?

Thanks. I had a look at the C2 rankings and its a decent effort. Think ill need to improve my shorter distance times (need to man up and do a 2k test again) and outright power before I can improve on this test significantly What is the CTC?

Did a 30 min session this morn. Hard distance, week 3 of the pete plan. 1.47.1/500, 8403m. Df 128. First time Ive tried to go that hard in a 30 min block(tried for and hit 1.50/500 last saturday). Decent benchmark for future training.
