Re: What are your priorities for the Season?

My priority is good health and arriving fit at BRIC and perform well. The rest (icons, meters, c2 challenges, CTC…) is bonus [emoji2]

Re: ACTIVE: Individual - Global Marathon and Century Challenge - May 1-15

Congratulations Iain on a great achievement.
Hopefully you will recover quickly!

After doing the HM May 1st and the FM May 3rd, I felt great, but then those new Icons popped up and I felt the itch to do the 50k but Saturday morning I dropped that plan as crazy, due to recovery times etc. (also it ...

Re: End of season rollover

Still looking good. Whatever issues we had earlier they cleared out after first week if I am not mistaken.

Could you please add the marathon and century challenge icons?
Would like one more than the :fswink:

Fully agree with Ron, great video!
Making-wise but also content-wise.
It is great to see these kind of activities. Shows what sports can do, and how important it is to make it accessible to everyone. Team spirit for many that otherwise feel left alone.

Re: ACTIVE: April CTC - Rugby Test (based on time, not meters)

Well, 5 days rest after 27 days for the Mud Challenge.
Felt like having a go at the CTC.
Haven’t done structured training or fast stuff since BRIC due to illness, but the slow meter munching proofed again valuable. Surprised myself with the result though starting out controlled as I have no clue ...

Re: Meter Munching - Meter Board Movers

Yes, Meterboard only shows RowErg meters, that is also why you see people having the mud challenge badge despite not even having a total meter count for the season that should go with it.

Re: C2 Challenge (Individual) - Mud Season Madness - March 1st to 31st (AKA 'The Stumpy Show')

Just noticed that the Meterboard icons are up already.
Jon remember to run a refresh later in April as not all on the current tables have completed it yet.
Unfortunately there is also no way to single out those that did it solely on the RowErg, but fine with me. It is a tough challenge and deserves ...

Re: Millionaire's Club - 2024/2025 season

Thank you Alan!
Very happy to have made the 1MM as it was a very tough season so far. Hoping to pull enough meters by April30th to avoid this being my shortest season ever, with the previous two being the worst two so far.
Good to have you back in action!
I love your special badge on the meter board ...

Re: Beetroot extract and rowing performance

Well, I have had a good effect (no idea whether placebo or real) from BeetIt shots that come in small bottles . I find them tasty, yes I know, weirdo [emoji2957]

The best Norwegian cross country skier that just won’t an incredible amount of 6 gold medals at the world championships, uses beet root ...

Re: Warmups for a Max Session

Hi, I am enjoying working with Eddie and I pay him gladly for his competence, plans and schedules.
I owe him eternal gratitude for my 2k PB 6:37.5 at age 48

I find it a bit disturbing to see his work that he earns his living with shared in public. Especially his marathon plan.

When it comes to the ...

It uses the term «at least», so you can row more and still do the challenge, at least that is how I read it.
Two birds with one stone.

Re: Can anyone explain this HR/Pace Graph - 1402m?

Just a thought:
After doing a lot of steady sessions I had a similar experience that HR was flat even during the rest between to intervals. I am pretty sure it was due to the Garmin HRM strap. After resetting it (battery mounted upside down for a few minutes) it recorded dynamics as expected.

So ...
