I think I'm a tweeked muscle or missed session away from being caught by Guy - there's some monster daily distances 💪

Clue time:

1) recently was followed up as a series ;
2) majority New Zealand cast, and the director also helmed the last Thor film.

Easter egg training requirements

I hope John (formally of this parish, and now FM) won't mind me sharing this for the benefit of non Facebookers? Anyone else with a Hotel Chocolat egg should whistle loudly and pretend this isn't here. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190420/9236967d913f0a53225abf939f2f5252.jpg Sent from my VTR-L0...

Re: what training have free spirits been doing today?

I've aborted the rowpro training regime for a bit, and reverted to the IP (PC issues - blasted thing is incompatible with rowpro!). As such, I gently brought myself back to the routine with a 3x 12 minute UT1 (though stepped well back from my peak 2km pace because of recent injuries). Felt fine, but...

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

Well, it was a an idea with shades of good. It seems that the scripts function when you open the spreadsheet in Chrome via the Sheets app, but otherwise things go south. It will however make updating the leaderboard a bit easier.

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

It needs a few eyes on it to test (and indeed to say whether this is helpful), so please feel free to view. I can't tell if its my PC being sluggish or not, but the update on open takes a few seconds to process. When I look at this I see Forum Flyers and Free Spirits Ian. Jon Seems like when I open...

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

I'll pop this over on the current CTC thread as well, but in the finest traditions of a little knowledge being a dangerous (or at least unwise) thing I've put together a basic automatically updating spreadsheet for the Free Spirits results for the current CTC month. It needs a few eyes on it to test...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Peter's holding back to allow us some hope early in the month [emoji48] I was thinking (with no logic) that 2km -1 would work as a useful initial target, but that's clearly too conservative [emoji848] Not much more here, but I can foresee something in the lower ...

Re: Meta-nonathlon 2018-2019

99 and amber for the HM is slightly irritating!!! As I didn't do one last year I understand the benchmark was my best nonathlon score (902 for the 5k) so the bar was always going to be pretty high. In fact I did not expect to get close but now I am does anyone know exactly how fast I would have to ...

That's a great improvement - well done Grobi. Even if I wasn't visiting family today, I can't imagine doing this one again!

I smidge of arm twisting got fellow gym class sufferer Chloe to submit a last minute time which has helped boat 2.

WOW that's quick! No wonder you top your IRL category =D> =D> =D>. And I see Mr Bee is also doing rather well... Fantastic row Guy - those splits are awesome. As for my perch on the rankings, I'm aided significantly by rather patchy entries for those below (but I won't tell if you don't :-$ ).

There's so much to be pleased with about that though - sprint finish, heart rate average, spm etc.

I'm plugging away through the initial "technical" pace rows, interspersed with the odd longer piece. Today's 5km was quite peaceful to be honest. The pace and distances remain a good way back to full pace/fitness. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190326/6d01fb27e841663e00768faefa43ea44.jpg Sent fr...

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2018 / 2019

Very impressive rows for different reasons above - well done all. For Team Guy: I've had a series of no expectation type rows for this piece this month, but I think this will be as good as its going to get - no balance on power, df or spm for this distance all of a sudden. https://uploads.tapatalk-c...

Sorry you've got a frustrating conundrum there Dave. If your neighbourhood is anything like here, I've been dodging chesty colds left, right and centre (while not catching one, I'm sure there's something underlying). In any event, hope whatever it is clears soon for you.
