Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017

Done! Still trying to get back in the swing of things. Sprints are not my strength, but considering the last few months, I'm reasonably pleased with my score - and it was done immediately after the CTC. No erg access the next few days so it was today or never. Rodger, hope you are feeling better soon.

Thanks for the reminder. I"m in. And, since I'm over 100K behind hubby on the meterboard, I am highly motivated to churn out the meters. :)

Got mine done today. If we can find just one more person to give it a go we can get that last boat floated. There is already a female and a lightweight in that boat so anybody could do it.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017

Welcome back Kirsten. Nice to see you back on the erg. Sorry to hear about your domestic problems, but glad to hear they have all been resolved. Thanks. It's good to be back to something resembling real rowing and not just paddling. Last minute, but IRL done and recorded. Faster than yesterday so m...

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017

Well, I mucked that up. Just re-did the November IRL instead of the December one. I'll try again tomorrow. If nothing else, at least I now have a measure of how far I've fallen in the last month. 2:14.3/500 on 11/29 down to 2:28.0/500 today. Been fighting respiratory crud. Thought it was just the li...

Re: November ctc - 1k unrestricted, standing start

Finally done. 4:02.2 Haven't been doing any sprint workouts lately and I paid for it today. This was ugly and painful. Completely lost it at about 3 minutes, battled back temporarily and lost it again at the end and paddled in the last few strokes. But, I didn't HD. :) And I think that floats anothe...

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017

Done! And no worries about my back. This is a long time issue. I see my chiropractor regularly and he heartily approves of my rowing. :) It just decided to be a bit more of a nuisance this month than it usually does. Looks like the age/sex adjustment won't give me as much of an advantage this month,...

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017

I haven't forgotten about this. My lower back gave me issues for a good week and a half and while it's now behaving itself, I am trying to be smart about getting back to full workouts. I rowed 6K each on Friday, Monday and today and all seems well so I'll probably do this on Friday.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017

I can't tell from the website. Can we put in a place marker score and then change it if we improve during the month? Or do we need to wait until we are sure we have our best effort?

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017

Cut off is mid-day GMT. That will be a lot earlier here. :) Got mine in. I think I"m number 8. Not a PB, but I did the CTC this morning. I'll try not to do them on the same day next month. 993 meters adjusted to 1318. That adjustment for being a 49 year old female is pretty sweet.

It would be really great if you could sneak this one in. And we will have a mixed team as well! [-o< Will get it done in a few hou...

Re: September CTC: Tribesports Ten

Nothing like waiting until the last day. Been in maintenance mode the last two months but managed to surprise myself today. Would have been thrilled with a 2:10 pace. Managed a 2:07.6 which is better than my PB for a 2K (2:08.2). http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160930/ca713dc6dd36b49db3f792ca7d3b5...

Roger, praying for a speedy and complete recovery for you. Finally finished this up. I think that floats another boat. 100 1:47.5 200 1:51.0 300 1:52.8 400 1:53.1 Total: 7:24.4 Not sure if I'll try any of them again this month or not. I seem to be trying to catch a cold. If I can knock it out before...

That's a pretty good improvement, Paul. Well done.

I'm spreading my attempts out a bit. Did the 400 yesterday. Probably try the 100 and maybe the 200 tomorrow.

Finally got it done. Better than I expected considering I've done much less rowing than usual this last month. Image
