Re: Captain

Hi Stan well done on the weight loss and a planned return to the erg. I hope all goes well. I am rowing steadily but not as much as I was in NZ when I joined the club with my son in law Tom Houghton.

Anyway good luck mate.

Best wishes

Chris

Re: Meter board banter

Well done on your unrelenting climb up the metre board, Paul. My own ascent is slowing and will stop for a couple of days once the Military Challenge ends on the 28th February. Although I may try to stay in the top 100 for the end of the season. Keep going, it will be interesting to see where you en...

Re: Lifetime Millionaires Club

Thanks David.. it took a while getting to 11 million.. my metre board rise is due mainly to the Holiday Challenge, the VTC and now the Military Challenge in the Royal Marine Team... no slacking allowed 🫡. Of course we still miss our comrade Bill Wright...and from this site of course. Thanks again Chr...

Re: Meter board banter

I too have resurrected my machine from under a dusty trove of stuff. I've set a goal of at least on more asterisk on the Lifetime Millionaires board, though it's unlikely to be this season. Meanwhile, I feel great that I'm almost competitive with the ceramic cat on the windowsill, and both of us ar...

Re: Virtual Team Challenge 2023

Jon T

Thanks for Heads up on the Wahoo Tikr HRM. I bought one on Amazon and was able use it the next. Very good so far and cheaper than the two offered by Conceot2.

So I am happily plugging away at the VTC knowing my heart is beating away.

I have just heard from the Royal Marines site that Bill Wright has lost his fight with cancer and passed away. Reading through these problems i am wondering if its worthwhile upgrading to the PM5. I like the PM4 it does what i want it to do and has done for over 10 years.
