Re: Lifetime Millionaires Club

Hi Plummy - I passed 31m this morning - the first row was 8th November 2003

135 days. TOTAL TIME
8510 WORKOUTS
2,088,745 CALORIES

If I've burnt 2m+ calories why aren't I thinner? (Rhetorical question)

Regards

Well done you!! BTW Yoga probably means flexibility and balance which Attia says is an important part of training for age - something i should look at.

Re: Strength training(on and off the erg)

There are a lot of different approaches and the biggest thing is that any exercise is better than no exercise so well done to everyone . I am 74 now and have stumbled across Dr. Peter Attia (mostly on You tube but he does have a book out) - he is American and his focus is all-cause mortality and the...

Re: WELCOME to New Members

It now appears that C2 make a distinction between "Team" and "Affiliation". Apparently I had joined the team but not altered the affiliation in my profile. I have now taken care of the latter so we shall see if it makes a difference.

Re: WELCOME to New Members

In answer to JonT my C2 ID is the same as ever and I have tried exiting "Free Spirits" again and then re-re-joining - to no avail! I have emailed C2 and await a reply. Thanks for all your help.

Re: WELCOME to New Members

Ian

Thanks for looking into this. You are right - my profile is set to "Free Spirits" but I am not appearing on the affiliated list. Do you think the problem lies with C2 or am I missing something?

Rewgards,

Re: WELCOME to New Members

Interesting - the answer is "No". However, I see that I am listed here -

Weird huh?

Should I contact C2 do you think?

Re: WELCOME to New Members

Thank you for the reply. I didn't make myself clear in my original post in that I had already set my team affiliation to "Free Spirits" in my profile on the C2 web site. To be on the safe side I deleted that and then re-applied the affiliation. After that I waited 30 minutes (longer actual...

Re: WELCOME to New Members

Greetings

I am a returnee. I have (re)joined the Free Spirits team on their web site but don't see anything on the metre board. Is it possible to fix this?

My C2 user name is the same as my full name i.e. Richard Underwood and the C2 Number is 98729.

Thank You

Re: Wrong Meters

Right, I think I have found the duplicated workouts - all for 15th January. My season's total meters is now 468,419 which is the correct figure. I'm inclined to blame Rowpro which I don't like as their server picks up erratically and doesn't always transfer workouts to C2 resulting in a manual entry...

Re: Wrong Meters

I am getting to the bottom of this. In the gap between checking my C2 log and my first post my season's meters jumped by 10,529. It looks as though the culprit is somewhere between Ergdata and Rowpro. I have found 9,139 of duplicated meters (on the 15th January). I just need to find the remaining 1,...

Wrong Meters

On the meter board there is a row for 15th February totalling 10,529 raising my season Erg meters to 478,948. This is wrong in that I did not do any erg meters on the 15th and the correct total for the season is 10,529 less i.e.468,419. On the basis that my C2 log book is correct and the meter board...

Re: VTC 2020 - Virtual TeamChallenge

Well done for the original post. I'm only erging about once a week but the Bikeerg is getting a fair bit of my time and these metres (divided by 2) count towards the team's standing - as of today I am on 46,177. I just hope your post encourages more Free Spirits to sign up. Regards Richard Underwood

Re: Injuries.....:(

Some of you have noticed my absence from the metre board for a few months and today was a first attempt at some sort of return. I was diagnosed with something called an inguinal hernia last Autumn and advised to avoid lifting heavy weights which I guessed included rowing. Yesterday I saw a senior su...

Re: May ctc - 1k / 3'r / 992m, standing starts

Unusual for me to do a CTC but whoever said pacing is the key was absolutely spot on. My excuse is I started wheezing in the 992 segment which has never happened before so I faded quite badly - hopefully it is hay fever or a summer cold rather than old age ........
