I plan to do this challenge a good few times, it's a nice distance especially since I haven't done a lot of meters. it's been a great start from free spirits with some astonishing times.

Si, have you tried massaging the areas affected, I had a problem with my calves when running and all the runners recommended massage, getting in deep, it worked.
That isall the advice that I can offer

I was planning to go as it is near me but i haven't rowed a great deal lately and woud only have 5 weeks training.

I normally go for like for like, so

2 mins will be 2min rest
3 mins will be 3 min rest
4 mins will be 4 min rest

I can also tell by my heart rate, it usually drops to around 80-100

I am sure others will be along to help
