Re: Meterboard 2 - bugs and feature requests

Was at a loose end today (procrastinating and not wanting to dig the garden) so fixed the Gap Column issue.

Re: Meterboard 2 - bugs and feature requests

I just forgot to put it in.

JonT is going to add it in time. We're going to work on it together as part of him getting to know the ins and outs of developing for the meterboard.

Re: Meterboard 2 - bugs and feature requests

This is what it shows for me right now. I’m “Allen H”. The gap is odd too... Ah, that's a cookie issue I think. I'm assuming you've done this, but could you report back what happens if you click yourself and then click this is me? If that doesn't work try deleting all Free Spirits cookies (Google it ...

I'll look. What's your actual name on the meterboard [emoji23]

LATER: There was a stupid error on the individual page, but I fixed that and now all the ones I tested appear to go to the correct place?

Re: Meterboard 2 - bugs and feature requests

Thanks.

So the current day shows (mostly) yesterday's rows. But only on meterboard 2.

I'm guessing it is a timezone issue where mb2 does one thing at midnight on the UK then another at midnight on Vermont. When they catch up out sort itself out.

I tried to key mb2 off Vermont time (C2 HQ).

Could someone post a screenshot of this behaviour please.

Does it occur on both meterboard 2 and meterboard 3?

Re: Web site move completed - spot a problem? Reply to this thread.

Yes, I think the plan is to slowly make mb3 behave like mb2 (there is a link to mb2 at the top of you want to see that info), but mb3 is way more powerful in other ways and does not need rolling over, so it's the future!

Thanks.

But it was chicken counting!

And we're back... Apologies for that outage. Unexpected side effect of the transfer.

I seem to be ricocheting between the two. If you see the "Transfer to JonT is complete" message then you're on the old server [emoji2369]

Re: Web site move completed - spot a problem? Reply to this thread.

There will be intermittent issues as the internet (DNS) works out everything (I keep getting pinged back to the old server) but it should solidify over the next few hours.

Re: PB Signatures

I suspect if they are not/weren't showing it is because the generator uses http://tiyurl.com for the image and not https:// - the move away from cloudflare (I think) means we don't get an auto change of http to https any more. I suspect when you have control Jon you could do it through the database ...

Web site move completed - spot a problem? Reply to this thread.

...at some time in the next week or so, the site will "go down for maintenance" and JonT and I will work on moving it to his server. We are not sure how long this will take, maybe a few hours. At the moment we are hoping to manage it next Tuesday or Wednesday, but no promises. If all goes to plan ...

Certificate Errors (don't worry)

Sorry for the certificate errors; a necessary step in the transfer of the site from me to JonT. They should go away as the DNS change filters through the internet.
