I didn't manage to move any of our boats.

Definitely you need to prepare for the open (salt) water and OTW related stuff. Blisters. Food. Navigation. Communication. Support team on the ground.
Special preparation for your boat, perhaps. I have only done the Elfstedentocht which is on lakes but we did prepare our boats for chop, etc.

Somebody "lulunac27" has put a weird result in as a Free Spirits Member. I am going to inform the CTC admins over on the Concept2 forum.

I like the 4x4x4 thing. If we go for a ranking distance I would vote for the 30 min but any other one would be ok too. I also have difficulty squeezing in the ranking distances and CTC with the normal training sessions.

You are really a bunch of Crazy (Polar) Bears. It's fun to read this. I know there is a HM and FM erg race somewhere in the South of the Netherlands if anyone is interested. At least there used to be one.
