Re: Name that tune

If it is 'Africa' (and it mus be, as their only really big hit in the UK. They also had 'Hold the line', but that was a minor hit), then it's amazing how for such a big song I/we can't place the lyric.

Re: September ctc - 1800m / 3'r / 1200m / 3'r / 1800m

 Gave in on the this CTC. I’m not in shape for this kinds of row yet. My best 2000m is in pace 1:50 so far, so my time would be rubbish anyway on the rerow of the last 1800m. We don't worry about times (well, it's not the absolute be all and end all  ), we just like filling seats....

Re: Name that tune

He did sing "Don't Cry for me Argentina" in Evita, which sort of fits the lyric Dave has posted (I can think of "of what a circus, oh what a show ...")?
I love these clue ones

Re: Name that tune

Don't think so Jill, wasn't Evita a bit later?
Can't think of another musical he was in though, unless he was in Chess? But even that's not 70s I don't think.

I might have both my boys having a go today, so maybe one more seat in boat 1 under jeopardy (and my seat in boat 2  )
I'm pleasantly surprised the other James had a go.
Expected him to be quicker, but his pacing is a little off
4:33.4 / 1:31.1 (first 500 was 1:29.9 ... [-X )
