Re: Name that tune
Thank you ma'am.
With some worries about how world-wide this was, I still like it.
People won't believe me
They'll think that I'm just braggin'

More?
People won't believe me,
They'll think that I'm just braggin'
That I could feel the way I feel,
And still be on the wagon.

Re: Name that tune
Nothing!
Not even a wild guess!!
You guys are driving me to drink. I might have a dry martini, or a jigger of gin.
No, I'll have a "Scotch and Soda".
I thought it was an older popular song, but apparently it is credited to the Kingston Trio, based on an old, obscure song.

Now, something easier :

Re: Name that tune
Thanks Paul and Wolfie. We'd just returned from a pub quiz when I saw the quote, that might have helped
I immediately recognised it, more from the rhythm of the words than the actual words themselves.
Here's the next one:
I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware

I was sleeping, and missed the last songs, but now I am not sleeping, I'm sitting. And the song is "I'm Walkin'".

Thanks Dave.
I thought of this next song, and then realized it might relate back to sleeping, but here goes anyway.
Are the stars out tonight?
