Great song that one
Slightly different, but I think easy, one
It's been a long time since the book of love

Robert Plant and the Sensational Shape Shifters are touring the UK in the Autumn. They are very good and I would highly recommend. They throw in quite a few Led Zep songs, including the one above

Hi Loranga, I thought that your quote sounded familiar, however after a while I've given up on it and googled it
Must admit that I've never heard of the song, so no surprise that I couldn't think of it

I've also given up and googled it. Unsurprisingly, I've also heard of the singer, but never heard that particular song.
It may be time to put us out of our misery and post another song, Loranga.

Re: Name that tune
Meant to put a clue about this up the other day. Not Neil Diamond - sorry Barbara.
Solo artist (global) and these are the opening lines of the song - although not one of the artists biggest sellers.

Re: Name that tune
I was also thinking it might be Ed Sheeran. Is it a recent song?

As soon as I put Ed Sheeran, I thought "actually it looks like something Adel would sing"

OK - let's put a bullet in this one. The song is called: All I ask.
