Meterboard 2 - bugs and feature requests

Where should the web site go - what should we do? Who has the time between rows?

Never heard of it! What should the icon be? Try googling 16x16 icons and link to some suggestions here.

I see sprint icons for the men, but we ladies are still icon-less :( :? The ladies & gents are on separate C2 honor boards for the sprints. (I know I missed it, at first)

How about this one?

Or a more traditional colour (but possibly too similar in colour to summer solstice icon)?

A nudge to remind you that the Dog days challenge ended recently. I think ithe icon was a black dog last year.

The meterboard does not appear to have picked up any meters rowed yesterday. :?

This appears to be a Concept2 problem not mine, as the metres match those reported on the source for the meterboard:

Actually, the figure shown for my total meters is correct. It's just not showing the 11797 meters I rowed yesterday. But if I click on my individual record, it shows yesterday's meters.

No idea why it is misbehaving then. I have changed nothing. Lets wait and see what happens.

It seems to be a problem with the C2 meterboard. It's basing my average meters per actual days rowed on 142 days, whereas yesterday was the 143rd day I rowed this season.

On a separate issue, I note that a 16 year old girl is now heading up the overall listing with an incredible (in every sense of the word!) 14,162,000 meters for the season to date.

Concept2 is revamping the logbook next week. Any idea if this will affect the FS meterboard, or how the affiliation / training partner currently works? They did say the logbook will be down temporarily for the change over. Hoping that's the extent of the disruption. [-o<

It will most likely completely screw the meterboard I'm afraid. But we'll see.

The update appears to be happening. I have no idea what the changes will bring. I hope I can keep the meterboard running but there may well be a hiatus of a few days.

Hi Thomas,

Thank you for your work on the Meterboard. It is a terrific motivator for me! I'm not seeing the marathon and half-marathon icons. Is that due to the C2 website update, or have they disappeared for some other reason?

Thanks,
John B.

I am not sure what you mean. There is no badge for marathons or half marathons?

Hello Thomas,

I believe he means that no one is currently showing the Marathon/Half Marathon challenge icons on the Meterboard. Looking around a bit I don't see any of the Dog Days of Summer ones displayed either.

Thanks for the board,
Lee

Not sure why the dog days is not showing, but the new way they do the boards at c2 definitely mucked things up a bit.

You would need to give me a link to a half marathon board or something because I can't find a reference to it quickly on the c2 challenges page.
