Issue Tracking for the 2012 update

Where should the web site go - what should we do? Who has the time between rows?

I'd be interested in other people's views on this.
Actually, I'm coming round to the idea of having it as a sub-forum. If I could change my suggestion, then, to be to make the RowPro forum a sub-forum too, as it seems to be a 'niche' interest too.

That is an interesting take too. I wonder what others think. I agree that they should probably be in the same place.

Hurrah! It must tick over every 24 hours. Spot the mistake... Forum is highlighted, not Meterboard. That should sort itself in 24 hours if I remember to make the fix!

I'd still like to make it wider on the page, but at least the colours look a lot better.

What's the error? The flag being on the line above? Not sure what I can do, but I'll add it to the list.

By the power of CSS I believe it is now fixed.

Did I hear someone mention CSS?

I know this is off topic, but I love the power of CSS. If you have some time, check out the following website:
http://www.csszengarden.com/

Each page has exactly the same content... the only difference is in the style sheets. What that means (for non-techy people) is that the content has stripped from the style. Artistic-type web designers can now create beautiful-looking web pages and the more techy-type people can work behind the scenes and worry about the technical side of things.

Some of these pages are truly beautiful.

Re plummy's issue - are you running ie9 in one of the back-compatibility modes - that can make it behave like ie7?

My problem report:

The CTC and nonathlon links are gone from the main menu bar. I use them a lot, even loading FS first to get to them as it is quicker than typing on my phone.

While on this, could we also have a link to the concept 2 uk challenge page (c2c) as many team members are doing that too.

I appreciate that the links may be there but lower down in the site, but I for one appreciate the speed/convenience of having them on the main menu and on every page. I could probably even argue for the two main forums (fora?) to be top level because of the amount of traffic through them...

Mike, the links to the ctc and nonathlon are in a drop down menu from Links.
I noticed that the link to the c2 website is the American site (concept2.com) - could we have one to the British site (concept2.co.uk) as well?

Check the "Links" menu. I wanted to reduce the number of top level items in the menu, so stuck them in there. It is one more click (although clearly not visible).

I am planning to put a link to the Facebook group in the links too, but completely forgot when I updated everything just now :(

Done. Updating the menu has to be done in three places, so I need to concentrate, but it is not that hard. Meterboard updates at 21:00GMT as far as I can tell.

Amazing what havoc one tiny little mistake makes. I stuffed up the menu rewrite last night, and added this bit of code...

<div id="menu"><div id="menu">

Rather than

<div id="menu">

This doubled up all font size tweaks I have made!

I have recreated the error and effect on the test page so I am pretty sure that the fix will fix it:
http://www.freespiritsrowing.com/fs/bak/mbtest.html

We just need to wait for the meterboard to update itself, hopefully in about 10 minutes (or 24 hours?? ). Sorry for any inconvenience!

I think I have fixed the utilities not working - I don't think that they were working in ANY browsers actually. Not sure how it worked in testing...

Do you mean the challenge series?

I think I forgot to add that. Confirm that and I will add it.
