I currently get email notifications whenever there is a posting on a thread to which I've posted. While this is helpful when I'm at home, it clutter sup my inbox when I'm away as I have to access my inbox remotely using mail2web. I can delete items in my mailbox, but it can be risky doing this as the wrong items get deleted if a new mail arrives between the time I choose which items to delete and when the delete takes place (can be a minute or two depending on the speed of the connection).
I presume there is some way that I can turn of notifications while I'm away. Alternatively, if someone can suggest an alternative means of accessing my email while I'm away? I know I could use something like gmail, but lots of people have my existing email address and I don't want to have to change it. I also prefer the functionality I get from using Outlook.
Thanks
Paul V

Thanks Huw
I've changed that. Hope I remember to change it back when I get back from Portugal.
