Re: FS Sweat protection option
I've just checked and I should be able to do a sterling transfer to your bank account if you send me the account details. Probably easier if you send it by email rather than pm. I think you should have my email address. If not, send me a pm and I'll send it on to you.

I await your invoice Plummy
Paypal will charge a fee on each transaction so if you were to use it you would have to add an extra bit for that. Probably easier for all if we use good old fashioned cheques, or a bank transfer via an interweb thingy - the latter means we need to be told your bank account number and sort code, the former means we'll know where you live

Somehow I don't think that would be enough to pay for the aircraft to get to the end of the runway, let alone go wheels up. Or are you crazy enough to start rowing?

Thank you for the PM Plummy, will sort that out today - if that's okay, I'll collect the bands when I see you at Madchester.

Re: FS Sweat protection option
I thought I heard post would no longer be delivered on Mondays over here, but mine arrived yesterday. They look and feel quality, completely different to the bathrobe material stuff you usually find in shops. The FS logo looks really good too!

Re: FS Sweat protection option
Thread resurrection alert!
My headbands are beginning to wear out/fall apart so I asked if they were available from from the same place as last time - and apparently they are! They are $9.00 each plus all the usual add-ons like freight and duty (which was scary!). Is anyone interested on ordering some more/new ones? - they are asking for a minimum of 30 to be ordered if possible.
For anyone new to the forum, these are special sweatbands that stop all sweat from running into your eyes- and they work really well (for me anyway). They just tie at the back and have the FS logo on the front.

All sounds good, more than happy to pay using PayPal for a couple, pref tie type.

Re: FS Sweat protection option
For reference, as the take up on this wasn't enough for the custom design type (as last time) I have taken a punt and ordered 20 of the plain types in a small mix of colours (Royal Blue, Navy Blue and Black. I'm hoping they will be with me in 2~3 weeks. I won't have a price until I've paid the import duty (which was pretty chunky last time I seem to remember). The ties themselves were $7.15 each (plus shipping from the USA which is about $30.00).

Re: FS Sweat protection option
I have finally taken receipt of the 20 head bands ordered what seems like an eternity ago. I haven't received my credit card statement yet (to see what dreadful exchange rate they used) but have the import duty and clearance fee of £24.04. Shipping was about £17.00 (again, to be accurately advised) and the bands themselves were $7.15.
They are going to be somewhere between £7.50 and £8.00 each.
I have 20 here (some already spoken for of course) so I need to know who wants them and how many. I have 5 x black, 5 x Navy Blue and 10 x Navy blue.
I'm taking 3 but don't care what colour.
Tako is taking 3
Peter W is taking 3 (Navy stated as preferred)
Obviously I would like these to go as I've taken a punt and paid the money out but there's no mad panic just yet. You are welcome to PM me with your requirements and an address to post them to...
