Not a Sprinter....

It was a painful session today - I decided to try my hand at the June CTC challenge; 666 metres. I completed it, then did some climbing and another 6,000 metres to round out the workout.

I was certainly satisfied with the time - although I can certainly see that sprinting is not my strength....

Time: 2:15.3 (1:41.6 ave split).

Back in Force

After 13 incredible days of climbing at Smith Rock in Oregon, we are back and beginning our training in force. I have spent the last couple of days doing distance rowing, starting with yesterday - 10,000 metre ranking attempt. I am happy with the results - 41:23.3 (2:04 ave split and a 25 ave spm). Today I rowed a UT2 distance of 15,019 metres. This afternoon will include climbing, pullups, deadhangs and core work.
